Cleopatra's Kiosk - a demonstration of visualisation techniques using CAD data from hand drawn sketches, survey plans and photographs.
The concept has three elements;
1. A simple upright structure with a footprint of
30 metres square.
2. An organic form wraps around a stone pier, covering a workspace and curved
passage.
3. A flat wing sits over the rest of the site and the adjacent column.
The Kiosk has a small footprint, between the old
Middlesex pier and under the new Golden Jubilee footbridge. The scheme compliments
old and new.

There is a column which houses lighting and security controls, including a safe.
This core element is the electronic hub, from here the vandal proof screen and
the entrance gate lock are operated.
With theatrical lighting the kiosk has an exciting, colourful presence in the midst of grey masonry. Illuminated by night and colourful by day, the kiosk has self-identity and uses this as its own signage.
